- This spot is right on the water and is a previous winner of the best restaurant on Maui contest. The dining room itself unspectacular, but the food is still very good. I had the Mahi Mahi Ceviche and thought it was really good, but then they brought out the Ahi Tuna Bruschetta – and WOW – was this good. A full order has four pieces in total and it’s more like an open-faced sandwich. Definitely a full meal by itself – but also one of the best dishes I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s on flax-seed toast, with a spread of edamame puree, locally grown tomatoes and micro-greens with a topping of fresh ahi and 20-year-old balsamic dressing. It was awesome!
